ABOUT THIS ONLINE WORKSHOP
“Your breath is the first thing you meet when you are born and the last thing you do before you go…it’s constantly with you, the friend and ally you didn’t know held the wisdom you were longing for…”
-Mari, Awakened Roots
Get to know the ally that has always been with you with your Breathwork Facilitator, Greg Payne. As a Reiki Master Teacher and Somatic Practitioner, he brings years of personal and professional practice with Reiki energy healing, Brainspotting, and as a Certified Breathwork Practitioner.
Your breath is the fastest path to a sense of calm, focus, and enhanced intuition. Our group breathwork sessions are a powerful catalyst for change, bridging the inhale and exhale with deeper levels of consciousness. This is your invitation to quickly awaken into the wholeness of who you are!
By focusing on your breath and consciously learning how to control it, you can reduce stress and anxiety, promoting relaxation and inner calm. Breathwork brings a myriad of benefits for physical and mental wellbeing. Physically, it can improve energy levels, sleep quality, and boost the immune system. Mentally, it can sharpen focus, increase concentration, and facilitate emotional release. The benefits are often amplified in a group setting, leading to enhance self-awareness and resilience. Breathwork is a simple yet powerful tool for improving your overall health, quality of life, and connecting with source energy.

Prepare a comfortable space to lie down near your computer or other Zoom-enabled device before we get started. You can lay on a yoga mat, bed, the floor, the couch, or anywhere available, as long as you can lay flat on your back without distractions. If you join us with your laptop or with a camera that can see where you will be lying down, I'll be able to watch you breathe and give you individualized guidance and feedback.
You may call in from your phone or iPad and if you’re not visible to the camera, the experience is just as effective - it's ultimately up to you.
It’s best to lie completely flat rather than to have a pillow beneath your head. It can also help to have a water bottle, tissues, and lip balm nearby. Most people get colder during the breathwork portion, so we highly recommend keeping a blanket near you when we breathe.
Opening your eyes during the breathwork can pull you out of the process temporarily, so we recommend a cover for your eyes. You can use an eye pillow, a small towel, or other cloth.
Please refrain from eating 1-2 hours before the event and be well-hydrated throughout the day. No use of alcohol or drugs before the event. Last of all, please wear comfortable clothing.
